Laser Sailing - Crabbing to Victory - With Erik Bowers

This week, Erik Bowers shows us a really useful starting technique that enables you to drift to windward, enabling you to close the gap with the boat to windward. This maneuver is called crabbing and is easy to learn, but tough to master! Erik Bowers is a former Olympic level laser sailor who has been coaching at Lauderdale Yacht Club for 3 years now. Erik has many accolades under his belt, including recently winning the 2019 Melges 14 US National Championship.
