Kit-E4: Part 1: Navigating the Maze to find our Performance Cruising Hybrid Catamaran

In this video, we show you the long route we took to find our 50' Performance and Cruising Catamaran with Paralle Hybrid Propulsion system. We looked at all kinds of boats before settling on a New DIY Kit Catamaran from Schionning Designs. We helped design the boat we are building by creating a condept model, then worked with the designers and engineers to bring it to life. But, before we got to our boat, we considered motor yachts, like the Flemming 55. Then we looked at new Catamarans like Lagoon, Leopard, Fontaine Pajot, Catana, Nautitech, African Cats, Bali, Antares, St. Francis, Outremere, HH, and many more. We also considered building a Kurt Hughes catamaran from scratch! This is Part 1 of Navigating the Maze, and in Part 2, released next week, we will show you the rest of the route we took to reach the point where we will start building a kit catamaran ourselves.
