Kevin Boothby and the Philosopher's Sandbar
February 1, 2020, and my mooring contract with Garrison Bight City Marina is up. I move off onto anchor near Fleming Key to weather another passing front. Should have stayed on the mooring ... my anchor pulls out around 0600 the following morning thanks to volley of rain squalls, and I have quite the time getting my anchor weighed and under sail without going aground or hitting anything. Then it's onto to Boca Grande Key. Tranquil weather and solitude inspire me to write another essay ... TEE SHIRT!
