Well, it all starts off with a couple of boats directly in front of us upstream collecting one another. What do we do? There is no one on board and it's getting dark. Where in Mooloolaba on the Sunshine Coast of Australia, anchored in "the pond", a crowded anchorage renowned for unattended and dragging vessels, commonly referred to as the "bowling alley". We luckily avoid a couple of boats on top of each other, it was only just a sleepless night. We enjoy the last rays of sun, skating ashore before another huge downpour hits, which leaves us with flat batteries and unable to start our engine. We just keep our fingers crossed that there is no more dragging boats tonight, as we currently have no way of escape. Thinking of getting some camera gear?
