It’s HARD to say goodbye. #56

Atlantic crossing: 7 weeks to go. I don't get emotional often, but saying goodbye to our friends, leaving Almerimar (this odd place that we came to love so much) and seeing everyone go on their decks to wave us goodbye brought a few tears to my eyes. It had been a while that I wanted to talk about how constantly changing environment impacts us emotionally, both in positive and less positive ways. In this life, we have to close chapters to open new ones a little more often than when we were sedentary, and I sometimes found it difficult to deal with (even when I am really looking forward to what's coming!).
