Tobelo, the principal town of N. Halmahera Island in Indonesia can be reached by sea or air and offers a great selection of tourist activities. There's land touring, several beautiful fresh water lakes, hot spring pools, boat trips to outer islets, and very colorful and rich reefs for diving and snorkeling.
