Impossible Dream Media Lab Theresa Hui

Teresa Hui is a New York City born and raised singer, actor, musician, writer, Athlete with a Disability (AWD) with osteoarthritis and fibromyalgia, 24-time marathoner finisher, National Anthem Singer for the TCS New York City Marathon, Brooklyn Cyclones, Staten Island FerryHawks and Westchester Knicks, and 2025 Miss Subways Finalist. She has performed at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, 54 Below, cabaret and comedy venues throughout NYC, sang all across Western Europe, and placed 3rd in Amateur Night at "Showtime at the Apollo" at the legendary Apollo Theater. Teresa has appeared on TV and in film, including "Helpsters" (Apple TV+), "Difficult People" (Hulu), "Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade" (NBC), and in multiple Easterseals Disability Film Challenge projects. Using The impossible Dream as a platform we invite filmmakers and content creators on board for a seminar, facilitated by an industry professional, on technical aspects of production and narrative storytelling. Then we go sailing. The Participants then film their experience and produce a short video. It is our goal to encourage Filmmakers in the disabled community to create work and seek out opportunities in the media industry. Please enjoy and share these videos.
