HURRICANE SEASON has begun...whats our plan?
Its our first time in the Caribbean, and with that comes coconuts, palm trees and glorious trade wind sailing, but a side of that us Brits aren't too familiar with is the hurricane season that happens every June to November. There's lots of hideouts in different areas of the world, so keep watching to find out where we head. ???????? Episode 69 I Chapter 3: Lets head to the Tropics [Caribbean] ???????? ? Trouble is- we were in a pandemic, had a university degree to finish, on a student budget, only had ever sailed dingies, oh and didn't have a boat. The dream seemed not only unrealistic but pretty insane. However, we worked hard, finished our degrees, worked as many hours as physically possible, saved with all our might, got experience and in March 2022 bought our very own sailboat, Teulu. Having little sailing experience and being a young couple, we have encountered a tonne of hurdles and made plenty of mistakes! but for every downfall, there has always been a reason to dust ourselves off and carry on. We hope you can join us as we sail around the world and keep #bloodydoingit *Timestamps* 00:00 Hurricane season has begun! 01:03 Lets sail to Carriacou 04:12 Dragging that anchor 06:10 What is our plan? 09:28 Sip n' paint 14:35 Next time on TT *References* https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fHAukgyPWBk https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z8BHKdM-p_M https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-a9ZExR9wgM https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qrTcly7PlC8 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eBM67Id5PXk https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LlXVikDkyTg https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vjlcxPfjbJM https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PDEcAxfSYaI https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wSXvcveNSTQ https://spacecoastdaily.com/2019/08/noaa-historical-hurricane-tracks-explore-more-than-150-years-of-historical-hurricane-landfalls/ https://www.trackthetropics.com/hurricane-season-statistics/ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rSc0UOy-huA #sailing #boatlife
