As you learn to sail, good hand technique is important to help you remain in control when doing the gybe. Here we show you the steps slowly on a land based simulator for clarity to help you to see how to sail a small sailboat. It is a good idea to try this before you go afloat for the first time. Bad habbits are often hard to correct so understanding what to do with your hands is important to learn.
