This episode is all about the (seemingly) never ending list of things to do when one is trying to go cruising. Katy and I tackle some new and mysterious problems on Seawind's fiberglass hull as well as a few that have been plaguing us for some time. We sand and fiberglass these troublesome spots and hopefully never have to revisit these areas. Katy dives into a project of her own, optimizing galley storage by adding some bamboo storage bins in a space that was otherwise useless. Oh and we add a really cool rotating spice rack! Parker also tackles a pesky leak in one of our thru hulls, the valves that are fastened to the hull allowing us to close off the holes that are under the waterline. We discovered this leak last year (it's more of an annoying drip of saltwater) and now that we are out of the water the valve can be disassembled and (hopefully) fixed. Though, we won't know until were floating again! All of this as we inch towards our splash date that is in only a few days time. So much to do and no time to waste!
