Hiking to PEN PYCH Waterfall in the RHONDDA VALLEY

Ah the Pen Pych Waterfall and Rain, what a dynamic duo! We have tried to come to this waterfall a few times but due to the rain, haven't been too successful. However, today, we decided to pack our waterproofs, plan a route and hike a trail to the waterfall and boy, were we not disappointed! Starting at the Hendrewen Hotel in Blaenrhondda, we hiked to the waterfall, up onto the Pen Pych ridge (one of only two flat-topped spur mountains in Europe!) and down the other side into a valley. Here, we crossed a river and continued along the valley until we dropped back down to the car. It was an incredible hike to see the hidden waterfall and we didn't cross paths with another soul!
