► The 52 is based on the 50 but now incorporates hybrid propulsion - like the highly successful HH44 - and a boosted sail plan. With its strongly inverted bows, curved daggerboards, comprehensive equipment list and luxurious (all-sandwich) interior fittings, we found the HH52 to be a real eye-catcher. The Sports Cruising version boasts highly refined carbon/epoxy sandwich construction. Aboard the Ocean Series version, fiberglass replaces carbon in part for the hulls, and the curved daggerboards are replaced by sensible fixed fins.
