On this episode of Sailing on a Whim, in the race to beat hurricane season, we travel on the Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway for the first time on our journey to prepare Whim for hurricane season. It?s a mad dash to pack up the boat, dodge storms, and complete our hurricane prep before we say a temporary goodbye to the most crucial member of our crew, Whim. This crazy adventure started in early 2018 as we started researching learning how to sail, buy a boat, outfit her, and take off for a life on the open seas. There has been a huge learning curve trying to make all of this happen and we want to share with you everything that we have learned and have some fun along the way.
