** NOW SOLD ** Launched in 2007, Hunky Dory is a Hanse 400e listed exclusively with Yoti on Pittwater. Representing the most popular model ever produced by the German manufacturers, the 400e’s are still an extremely sort after model. The 400e simply got it right. These yachts are surely the easiest 40 footer of their generation to sail thanks to the self tacking headsail, a very responsive and direct drive steering system and even the ability to lead both main and headsail sheets back to the aft winches which are easily reached from the helm. Hanse 400’s aren’t just easy to sail but are certainly one of the quickest boats in their class. The ‘e’ is for epoxy used in the hulls layup meaning a lighter, stiffer hull and virtually guaranteeing an osmosis proof hull for life. Hunky Dory is a two cabin layout which includes a very impressive forward owners cabin, large double aft cabin, large head with separate shower stall, very generous L shaped galley leading aft to the massive storage garage which is also accessible via the cockpit and could be used for occasional accommodation. A good instrument package by Simrad includes auto-pilot.
