Halifax, Nova Scotia / MV Havaseas Nordhavn 50

We are Eric, Kimberley, and Distin. We are from Alaska. We started our adventures in Alaska on our Nordhavn 55. We sold her and are now beginning our adventures on a new to us Nordhavn 50. In this episode of we cruise into Halifax, Nova Scotia, one of Canada’s most historic and vibrant coastal cities! We start by exploring the northwest arm of Halifax, checking out the viable anchorage spots for cruisers and liveaboards. Then we tie up at what might just be on the most rolly dock we’ve ever been on — seriously, it was wild! 😂 After securing the boat, we head ashore to explore downtown Halifax, do some shopping, and pick up a brand new drone for epic aerial footage. We spend the next couple of days soaking up Halifax’s waterfront attractions, taking a self-guided historical building tour, and (of course) enjoying amazing local food.
