When we first learned about sailing we were sitting on the beach watching a boat go past out to sea. We wondered what the view would be like as it sailed along the coast. Five years later, doing it on our own boat, we know exactly what it’s like and this video shares the joys and challenges faced with coastal cruising the east coast of Australia. Sailing close to the coast we take in the views and stay out of the worst of the chop but some bays can’t be avoided.
