Fishermens' Chapel

Unlike many of my videos, this one isn’t directly about boats or the technicalities of sailing. It describes instead a discovery I made among the remote skerries in the Baltic Sea. Hiding among the rocks on an island once the home of several fishing families lies their tiny wooden chapel. The paintings on its walls and ceiling are as spectacular as they are unexpected. I love making connections across the centuries.
