Sailing vessel Tapatya. After sailing up the beautiful Rio Guadiana, we explore the many walking trails ashore and move even further upstream to the tranquil Puerto de la Laja. This is the story of SV Tapatya, a self-built, Jay Benford designed, 31.8ft, junk schooner-rigged cruising sailboat. The videos are a week-by-week record of our adventures as I live aboard, sail and strive to find out just what such a self-built, low-budget vessel is capable of.
