Episode #138 Can we SAIL this boat into the ocean?

Have you been waiting for us to finally start sailing? Will we be able to become better sailors? What do we need to outfit our sailboat properly? In this video we check out a beautiful undeveloped island beach called Hunting Island and then take our Moody 34 sailboat out for a day sail to practice sailing on the Coosaw River. We are in a beautiful location with a wide river to practice sailing and beautiful beaches to enjoy. There is a great group of sailors at the marina we are docked at and Vin & Amy are making some great sailing friends. Although this area would make a great base, Vin is eager to head south and enjoy the tropics before this years Atlantic Hurricane Season is upon them. Why? Because they have an opportunity to get alot of work required on their boat done if they can get her up to Annapolis by June 15th. That leaves them about 3.5 months to explore further south before turning around to haul their boat out for repairs in Annapolis. For now, they are in Beaufort S. Carolina enjoying one of the best areas they have ever visited and meeting some of the best sailors and new friends ever. We hope you enjoy this video!
