On this episode of Sailing on a Whim, we continue our EPIC road trip starting with the magnificent Yellowstone National Park and onto Grand Teton National Park, Flaming Gorge National Recreation Area, and the Maroon Bells. Along the way we join up with sailing friends in Colorado and together we nervously watch Hurricane Dorian coverage as it is predicted to be a direct hit on Whim in Florida. What we didn?t yet know, is that Hurricane Dorian would be absolutely devastating, just not in the way we imagined with the early predictions. This crazy adventure started in early 2018 as we started researching learning how to sail, buy a boat, outfit her, and take off for a life on the open seas. There has been a huge learning curve trying to make all of this happen and we want to share with you everything that we have learned and have some fun along the way. We are excited (and a little nervous!) to share this journey with you.
