Sailing St.Martin to Anguila and visit its stunning beaches and resorts. Some of the best beaches in the world we would say. Anguilla is probably the best sun & sand destination in the Caribbean. Following our short trip to the island of Saba, s/v Cloudy Bay (Hallberg Rassy 54) continues the cruise through the Leewards, departing French St. Martin and sailing the short distance over to British Anguilla. After a month on the busy and rather chaotic island of St. Martin, the small and low populated coral island of Anguilla seems like a holiday for us. Stunning beaches, beautiful resorts, very friendly people and a much less agitated way of life here. After a beam reach then a short windward sail, we anchor in Road Bay. The only safe place to moor. Then, in our usual fashion, we tour the island seeking out the best beaches and resorts.
