We say bye bye to St Lucia after being stuck a bit too long waiting for good weather. Or good weather?? Who are we trying to fool here? It looked like good weather on the forecast, but turned into a full day of a "wind-on-wind-off" kind of sail. The captain wish for us to end up in the middle of the rain to rinse of the boat, and he got more than he bargined for. Truth be told, it rained on and off for the entire coming week after we arrived, so we definitely got properly desalted. And yeah, full set of sails should not be attempted in the middle of a squall. The National Park we visist in the beginning of the video is the one on Pigeon Island, in the north part of Rodney Bay. It's designed for tourist coming to visist with car, not dinghies, so it is a bit unclear where they think we should leave them. Never the less, we had no issues with our dinghy that was left on the beach. And the park is well worth a visit. Have a nice week and see you next Wednesday!
