Ep16 | Sailing along the French coast and first time anchoring in tidal waters | LinneaSailing

This week we are going to Saint-Vaast-Le-Hougue. For the first time we try to anchor in tidal waters where the charts said 0.4 meters of depth, which felt a bit crazy. Don't worry though, this was around neap time and we had done the calculations correct, so we were still afloat in the morning 😉 We explore the old fortification and find that our log transducer had a whole small marine farm in it from our time in Le Havre - no wonder it didn't work 🙈 Enjoy, and fair winds! ________ We are Emmy and Marcus, a Swedish couple who has decided to leave our home and set sail.
