Ep 80 - Storms all around us! | SAILING SUMATRA

In this episode we are excited to voyage to the Mentawai Islands and our passage is electrifying! An overnight sail is never fun when there is lightning about and this one was particularly bad; adding 4 hours to our trip time when we had to turn back multiple times to avoid large lightning cells. Needless to say we were relieved to arrive in Taupajet and spend some down time rafted up in Mango Bay with friends. We say goodbye to Oscar and celebrate Brodies birthday, the boys surf their hearts out and we even make a quick visa run to Padang. Excelsior…Onwards and Upwards!
