What happens when monohull sailors sail on a catamaran for the first time? Rather than sail south with the Salty Dawg Rally, we are sailing in New England in November on a delivery with sailor friends, something we had not planned before Pierre’s injury. For our friends, monohull sailors, this is their first sail on a catamaran, with their comments and comparisons. This was a 2-day sail from Charlestown marina in Boston to the New England BoatWorks Marina in Rhode Island with variable winds, allowing us to try our sail inventory.
