Ep 39 - Sailing Chelsea - The Hard Work Continues!

In this episode of Sailing Chelsea, we continue with our work on Chelsea whilst she is out of the water. We are in the shipyard and have finally cleaned all of Chelsea's hull - which was pretty badly fouled with barnacles and sea-worm. We get a coat of primer on her and change the oil in the sail drive. It's a long wait for the anti-foul but it eventually turns up and we are excited to get Chelsea's bum finished! Ryan also works had to polish Chelsea and get her beautiful and shiny and after 2 weeks of nonstop work, Chelsea is finished! Unfortunately, the maintenance that we complete is only a small part of the problems we currently face. With all our electronics needing replacing, we are still waiting for this work to be done, which is turning out to be a much longer wait than the 5 days originally quoted!
