Ep 375 | FIXING the Upper Deck, MR FUNNEL Helps Out, Nutshell Boat Jobs
We continue working on fixing the roof. It's time to epoxy the ply boards in so they don't leak. Magnus gives the carburettors a bit of a tickle up because, as we go to leave our anchorage, the engines aren't doing as they should. After removing the filter, we realise the fuel in the tank is probably the culprit, so Magnus polishes the fuel with our Mr Funnel fuel funnel. It does an amazing job. Magnus works out an ingenious way to clean Peanut's hull on shore using a few rope contraptions. Peanut is now ready to go fast again. Wendy heads to the UK to visit family while Magnus continues work on the foredeck and upper deck. It's hard going as the weather isn't kind and there are many rainy days, but he makes progress.
