EP 152 The Velcro River in Guatemala
For Sailors/Cruisers the Rio Dulce has been called the "Velcro River" and for so many good reasons. Basically it's hard to leave because of it's beauty and being a safe harbour. But it's mid December and time for this sailing Trio to say a fond farewell. We are off the dock and making our way to the Panama Canal! Good bye to the town of Fronteras. One last cruise down the gorgeous Rio Dulce "Sweet River" of Guatemala and out to the Caribbean sea, but first a stop at Tom the riggers place in Texan Bay to exchange a main sail batten.
