We manage to finish our final fresh provisioning and grab a couple of special beers for the important parts of the passage. We actually leave sight of land and start the epic journey across the South Pacific from Cabo San Lucas to Hiva Oa in French Polynesia. As usual, we do a few boat jobs along the way, making the bimini cover more waterproof with a few stitches here and there with our Speedy Stitcher. Magnus does a quick review of our passage plans giving information on which way we intend to go. He makes a start on adapting the main sail cover into a stack pack.
