Ep 11 Boat Projects Lifelines Bow sprit Sanding Removal Teak, Sailing Free Spirit

Sailing Free Spirit. Tackling the next phase of projects: we install the life line poles and ropes, remove the old and expired propane tanks, sanding of teak handrails, installing the bow sprit. The bottom of Free Spirit has work being done with her and we were asked not to film the workers. They are removing the old blue paint and taking her down to the barrier coat which is red and will apply new barrier and anti-foul. They are also working on removing all of the old thru hulls so they can be replaced. This is work that we just aren’t able to complete due to time issues with us working during the week. The teak in the cock pit was being removed as there were several pieces missing or broken…. What we thought would be an easy project turns out not to be but since we started to remove the teak, it all has to come out… It will take several videos to show the progress of this as we mix it in with other projects over the upcoming weeks.
