Since a video is worth a thousand words, here is a clip showing all the details ot the energy production devices on board ACCIONA 100% EcoPowered, the monohull on which Spanish skipper Javier Sanso is about to compete in the 2012-2013 Vendée Globe. The yacht uses zero fossil fuel, a perfect way to prove performance does not have to be to the detriment of the environment preservation.
