Ellen Fisher Inspired Grocery Haul

I had a fun time shopping like Ellen Fisher for the day. Technically, this is not at all what your shopping videos look like. You will find her at farmer’s markets and being really good about cutting out her waste. She is a fantastic role model. However, I want to be honest with where I'm at in our plant based lifestyle. I realize that moms have so much on their plates- some work out of the house full-time, others have large families, very small budgets etc. etc. I really do believe that where there is a will there is a way. If you want to reduce your waste, eat more whole foods, fruits, and vegetables you will find a way. I will at times get frustrated and let my excuses get the better of me (like in this video), but I don't let it stop me from trying to live up to do better at my next opportunity. Also, as you can see there were a number of areas I can improve upon in my next grocery shopping adventure. Please note that I do not always shop at our local co-op. I do try to meal plan and grocery shop to save our family money, but still try to get in the most nutritious foods.
