E33 - Orpheus Clam Garden & Fantome Island Leper Colony

This episode, Michael and Mignonne join us in Townsville and we sail north. We visit Orpheus Island to see the clam gardens, which were planted in the 1980s, the garden is now populated by several hundred clams each weighing 150 - 200 kilograms. After waiting for the tide to come in we get to see them squirting water creating quite a view. We move around to nearby small uninhabited island Fantome Island to view the ruins from the 1928 lock hospital, and the leper colony which was present from 1939 to 1973.
