DIY - Structural Damage & Engine removal - SailingCelina Ep.19
After having removed my sailboat´s interior I realized issues with it´s stringers. Careful investigation revealed a complete structural failure of all stringers. The core being completely rotten left me speechless. Jeanneau must have left all holes for wires and tubes unprotected and the result is devastating. I hope the structural repair will cause no troubles. Preparing Celina for the winter I had the engine removed for a major overhaul. In the warm garage I can now start to concentrate fixing every corroded part and supply new wiring and tubes. Stay tuned...
