DIY Fiberglass Defies Gravity #41

In this episode I tackle a fiberglass defies gravity project. hanging fiberglass upside down isn't all that difficult, but there is a trick to it. gravity is always pulling down on your wet out fiberglass. to get it to say up while it cures or defies gravity, requires a surface wet out with thickened epoxy, let it sit until it gets tacky, then lay up the fiberglass cloth dry, and wet out in place with epoxy thinned with acetone. this system works great, the acetone evaporates leaving the wet out fabric and epoxy to cure. this process can be repeated to laminate as many layers as needed to make up the required thickness.
