Diving Mozambique with Gozo Azul Diving Ponto do Ouro

Diving Southern Mozambique with the Amazing Gozo Azul Diving a PADI 5* IDC Centre based in Ponto do Ouro. Diving in the marine reserve this region is famous for the world class shark diving site of Pinnacles. Home to Tigers, Hammerheads, Silky, Dusky and Grey Sharks to name a few. We visited during October 2023 during the shoulder season which meant some big swells and windy conditions at sea. However despite the challenging conditions which certainly had a detrimental effect of the visibility underwater we were treated to some great diving. The fish life is probably some of the most prolific we have witnessed for many years which is a testament to the Marine reserve, and yes we saw plenty of sharks. Highlights were our first encounters with Tiger Sharks, and the daily interaction with the migrating Humpback Whales, Quite Amazing.
