Cyclones and Wrecks EP4

After spending six weeks exploring Waiheke Island it was time to head north to Whangaparoa Peninsula, Gulf Harbour and Kawau Island. Kawau is only a few kilometres north but is a little gem! Lovely anchorages, good walks, a bit of history and a shipwreck meant we were not short of things to do.We kept a close eye on the weather, with (Ex )Cyclone Gita giving us a close shave along the way.
