Custom G10 bases for Groco Triflange Seacocks and Enlarging Cockpit Drains on a Sailboat

SEASON 6 / The Haul Out : Episode #120 : Bottom Paint, Cockpit Drains and Seacock Bases Hello Friends, On this episode I show you an easy way to enlarge holes on the bottom for your boat. We needed to do this to oversize the cockpit drains from 1.25 to 1.5 so water will drain from the cockpit quicker when we take a large wave over the stern at sea... aka get pooped. We also knock out the first coat of Antifouling paint on the bottom, which was VERY satisfying! After that I sit down and show you how I went about making custom bases out of G10 fiberglass board for our bronze Groco Triflang seacocks.
