Cruising the ICW - Beaufort, North Carolina

After leaving Charleston, SC, we decided to head north in a hurry to escape the summer heat. We motored for 4 long days dropping anchor each night. We stopped at Butler Island (just north of the Waccamaw River), Little River Inlet and Wrightsville Beach before making it to our destination, Beaufort, NC. In Beaufort, we enjoyed checking out the massive sport fishing boats that were there for the Big Rock Blue Marlin Tournament. We visited a yarn shop on Morehead City, did some laundry at the General Store and checked out all the historic homes.
