Cruising the Chesapeake - Yorktown, VA, where our nation's Independence was won

After our time in Norfolk, it was time to leave and finally make our way into Chesapeake Bay. After 2 months on the ICW, we finally got to raise our sails. We sailed to a small anchorage right near Langley Air Force Base and stayed for a couple nights before heading on to Yorktown, VA where we got to explore the town, meet new friends and enjoy 4th of July fireworks.
