CRUISING IS BACK! My Cruise in June 2021 and Royal Caribbean COVID rules

Cruises from Nassau Bahamas will begin sailing on June 12th, 2021 Adventure of the Seas: starting sailing from Nassau in June Vision of the Seas: starting sailings from Bermuda in June (dates not announced yet) Adventure of the Seas June 12, 19, 26 - Bahamas + Cozumel with 2 days at Perfect Day at Coco Cay Documenting new procedures on cruising in 2021 ======================================== New rules for cruising Guests 18 years and older to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 Each guest must submit proof of vaccination no later than boarding day, in the form of the original vaccination record This means that the guest has completed the full cycle of required doses for the vaccine administered (e.g., received the second dose in a two-dose series), and that the guest has received the final dose at least 14 days before sailing. Under 18 requires a negative covid test. Travel agents are amazing! ======================================== I reached out to my travel agent, Lisa Stewart with Dream Vacations, who was on-the-ball with contacting Royal Caribbean right away to get availability. Not only did she find me a cabin on one of these first cruises in June, but she also sent me all covid vaccination requirements. I definitely recommend having a travel agent! Travel agents are free to use and almost always have inside information to cabin availability that you can’t find online. Lisa was able to find a balcony cabin for about $100 less than an inside cabin! Travel Agent Info: Lisa Stewart Dream Vacations 704-288-8030 l.stewart@dreamvacations.com The Cruise I will be going on ======================================== Because my kids don’t get out of school for the summer until June 22nd, I wasn’t able to get on the June 12th or 19th cruise, but I did get a cabin on the June 26th cruise from Nassau to Cozumel and 2 days at Perfect Day at CocoCay. I will be flying to Nassau for less than $200 thanks to Travel Hacking! I’ve accumulated a lot of American Airlines points by using credit cards the right way and taking advantage of signup bonuses so my round trip plane ticket to Nassau will be free and I only have to pay the government fees for the ticket! I’m looking forward to documenting this trip for you and am planning on releasing youtube videos as soon as possible (and maybe even live streaming from the ship!) I’m also really excited about having 2 days at CocoCay so I will do my best to make detailed videos of everything that CocoCay has to offer. This will also be my first time on Adventure of the Seas and even though it’s an older ship, there have been quite a few updates done to it and of course, all of the covid precautions that have been added will be interesting to see.
