THE RACERS DID NOT BET $3K, I was misinformed on that bet! They only raced for bragging rights. This race was a grudge match between an Avanti 33' with Quad 400 Mercury Outboards (flashed to 485hp) vs a 36' Carrera with 400 (flashed to 485hp) Mercury Outboards and Nitrous! Their is controversy with the race. Their will be a rematch to settle the controversy once and for all!
