Brunei - How to get 8 stamps in your passport in 1 day

Interested in visiting Sumbiling Eco Village in the Temburong district, we found out that there are 2 ways to get there: 1. get a taxi to Bandar ferry dock, then take a 45-min river ride by small ferry followed by a bus or taxi to the Eco-Village OR 2. drive the scenic route via Malaysia to get from the main part of Brunei to their isolated district of Temburong. This journey will involve 8 passages through border controls! Soon (in 2019?) the new super long bridge will offer a route that stays in Brunei the whole time with no passing borders anymore! Visit with us the Sumbiling Eco Village and gather local and wild foods to cook native dishes. Blow darts like hunters and dance like the Iban. A real cultural experience! Short on time, we did not stay overnight but drove our comfortable rental car back to Bandar and indulge in a nice Malay food buffet at the Tarindak D'Seni restaurant.
