Bow Roller & Pulpit Deck preparation: DIY Boat Refit progress 11

In this episode we dodge the rain to make more progress preparing the deck for the Bow Roller and Pulpit (more FR4 and epoxy). We also made some progress preparing for the Dyneema chainplates for the main mast. We are refitting a 44 year old Rival 38 for a Sustainable Sailing retirement in a few years. Two years ago, when we bought Vida she was in a very tired and damp condition with all original equipment and fittings. We have removed all the gas, diesel and paraffin equipment, and are installing all electric (motor, cooking etc). Now that the inside is dry (thanks to new windows, new hatches and leak chasing) we are fitting her out for live-aboard world cruising.
