It’s a performance cruising catamaran and has an excellent balance between performance and liveability. This makes Looping one of the best cruising catamaran. Designed by Patrick Luscher, this offshore cruising catamaran combines all the elements for an easy life: safety, weight centered, speed, comfort and solidity. Exceptional performance for a cruising catamaran. Her name is Umadum and she was built in red cedar-epoxy strip planking by amateurs in France in 2006. Patrick Luscher designed his performance catamarans to be simple, strong, light and fast while taking excellent care of the bluewater crew. Hulls are long and slender. Bridgedeck clearance is superb. Weight is intelligently centered. The living environment is practical, comfortable, and elegant. And as a long time liveabord sailor he also designed many little, but very important practical detailes which makes living aboard and cruising life nice and easy. You can see these details in our film. And Looping is an affordable sailing catamaran. Two shipyards – one in France and one in West Africa can build it for you or you can build it yourself with detailed plans. This boat tour is about the interior of our catamaran.
