Sailing across the Indian Ocean from West Sumatra, Indonesia to Mauritius https://www.sailingnandji.com The Indian Ocean crossing has begun. After 5 days of light conditions as we head south away from Indonesia and the equator. We find the trade winds and instantly the seas grow BIG and the wind starts! With a 3rd reef in the main and a tiny bit of headsail, it is time to settle into to the ocean crossing. With constant fuel issues, we have trouble running the generator meaning we can not make water.
