Designed by Bruce Farr, the 40.7 has gained an international reputation not only as a fast cruiser but also for their exploits on the racetrack – particularly under the IMS rule. Ningaloo Dreaming is a 3 cabin layout with two double quarter berths and a v-berth forward. There is a good sized head with plenty of room to shower in comfort, large dinette with in line settees, L-shaped galley and functional nav station. Recent significant upgrades include new standing rigging in December 2017 and a new 38hp Volvo engine in 2020. Ningaloo Dreaming is fitted with B&G wind speed and depth instruments – including mast repeaters along with GME VHF radio and SEA 225 HF Radio.
