Here he sails past Grey's reef, through the Mackinac Shipping straights, and rounds the corner for the final leg home. There is a storm on the horizon, and the sky's are getting dark. Will Nick beat the squall? Starting the 10 hour journey, the motor has failed 4 times leaving him drifting to adjust/fix it (One time in the Marina), the main halyard clamp resulting in the halyard twisting up in the rigging, he continues his first solo sail, and first sail with our new sailboat (A Catalina 25) back home to Beaver Island.
