We went to the beach for some snorkeling. It was too rough and the water was stirred up so that was a bust. Took our Electroscan unit out and installed a holding tank for the forward head. Decided to go to Key West for awhile. At lunch (Poke bowl with Salmon), had a glass of wine, walked around, and relax. Our slip is great but there is a shoal directly behind it. Grounded there coming in because the channel marker was not where it should be. We got in the dinghy to explore the surroundings and try to measure how much backing distance Isabella would have before hitting the sand. Couldn't get the laser rangefinder to work so we tied a string to the boat and started measuring depth. Might have 60 feet (not much) to back out without grounding. Thank you for watching!
