Winter is coming and we need to get ready for it! We are planning on working through the winter, therefore it is important for us to be prepared with all the necessities we will need to get through it. We heat primarily with wood, so that is a priority and then we also need to make sure that everything is properly taken care of (covered, stowed, raked, etc...). Finally, this is a good opportunity to shift the video schedule to allow for time to get these chores done but also to keep November to a two video month on Patreon. These videos follow the journey from tree felling, to lumber milling, to lofting, to the lead keel pour and beyond—sharing details of the woodworking, carpentry, metal smithing, tool building, and tool maintenance that wooden boats command. This ultimate DIY project will continue well past launch, when they will travel and learn to cruise aboard the boat that they've built.
